Wrapping up the second international scientific conference of the College of Physical Education and Sports Science
The conference coming to an end
In a special ceremony of the Second International Conference in College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences with its diverse activities came to an end.
At the outset, a speech has been delivered by the esteemed, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Qasim Mohammad, conference chairperson and the dean of college of physical education and sport sciences. The international conference is entitled “The Role of Academic Research in the Domain of Sports and the Contemporary Challenges from an Academic Perspective”
This is its content, after all the researches have been discussed, it is necessary to mention the success of the conference upon the support of many parties who are highly appreciated.
We express our thanks and gratitude to the Presidency of Kurdistan Region Government and Council of Ministers headed by the esteemed, Masrour Barzani, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Health, the directors and the staff of health, interior, Assayesh, Peshmarga, and all security institutions in Duhok Governorate, the room of operations in combating Corona Virus who have been the reason behind protecting people of Kurdistan Region in general and people in Duhok governorate in specific. We are proud as we abided to the rules set by our Government because of Corona pandemic, and we held our conference virtually (online) otherwise we had the plan to hold it on-ground on April 8th in Duhok and host all researchers from 12 countries in Duhok.
We thank the sponsor of the conference, the esteemed Duhok University President Prof. Dr. Muslih Mohammad Saeed Duhoki who has always been supportive to our college for any task.
On the other side, I see it indispensable to thank our partners in this conference, Noon Centre for scientific research headed by Dr. Nashwan Mahmood and all his staff who exerted effort in this conference and especially Dr. Mohammad Tawfeeq, Engineer Hasan.
I also express my gratitude to all committees who contributed to the successful completion of this conference, the heads, the coordinators, the members of the preparatory committee, the scientific committee, the media and the IT committees and others.
The performance of any work with the absence of media is a hidden accomplishment; therefore, media has an effective role in the success of our conference. We express our thanks and appreciation to the three channels: Kurdistan TV, Rudaw TV and Channel 24.
In the ceremony of the inauguration of the conference, the local artistic band of the Directorate of Arts and Culture contributed to our conference with an artistic tableau; we give a special word of thank to them and the head of the team Mr. Ahmed Mishakhty for the coexistence tableau.
Without researchers, the conference wouldn’t have come to existence; we express our gratitude to all researchers, particpants, and attendees.
The conference performed four sessions in diverse domains. We thank heads and the coordinators of each session. Also three workshops and some seminars have been presented and this is highly appreciated.
A special word of thank to the council of College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences and its staff who worked on the conference, those who attended the conference online, and those who couldn’t attend yet sent a message via mobile.
We thank all the people who congratulated us on the conference and those who gave us feedback.

The final recommendations have been delivered by the head of the academic committee Prof. Dr. Chachan Jumaa which were based on some specific points.
Followed by the four sessions in which researches were discussed they assigned the excellent researches to receive certificates by the authors as it is clear in the pictures.
Then the head of Noon Centre expressed his thanks to the university president, the dean of College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences, the committees who managed the conference, the researchers, all the parties who contributed to the success of the conference.
